  • Avoiding interruptions during long-term or complex experiments.
  • Ensuring compatibility with advanced water objectives without additional heating equipment or manual intervention.

These issues often led to compromised image quality and unreliable results, particularly in demanding applications like live-cell experiments and high-throughput screenings.

Our Solution

In collaboration with Leica, Bartels Mikrotechnik developed an innovative system to address these challenges.
Key components of the solution include:

  • mp6 Micropump: Ensures a continuous and reliable water supply for immersion, maintaining optimal conditions throughout the experiment.
  • Micro Dispenser: Provides precise water delivery at the microscopic level, ensuring the immersion film remains intact.
  • Integrated Design: Fits seamlessly into climate chambers without requiring additional heating units. The intelligent design prevents interruptions or water damage, thanks to features like a water absorption ring and specially designed water cap.
  • Software-Controlled Operation: Fully automated water supply eliminates the need for manual intervention, ensuring smooth and accurate experiment workflows.
