In microfluidics, droplet generation is an important but very complicated topic. The goal is to create droplets of a specific size depending on the application. We have partnered Microfluidic ChipShop before and created some application kits with their advanded chips and our pumps and electronics. This droplet generator can be found in the Droplet Generation Kit we offer.

Try out the Droplet Generator Chip 912 which contains eight singlecross droplet generators with a nozzle size of 80µm on one chip.

Material compatibility: Please be aware of material compatibility when setting up your droplet generation experiment. When utilizing silicone-based oils we recommend the use of Topas chips, while mineral oils require chips made from PC. This Chip is made out of PC.

There are a number of possible applications for droplet generation. It can be used for single cell analysis and sorting. Additionally, high throughput screenings are also possible.
