Gas analytics is a crucial topic in many process and quality control processes. Often times, it can be difficult to implement a system into existing set-ups. Additionally, passive systems tend to have a delay in readings and are error-prone. So, what is the solution?
The mp6 micropump can pump both liquids and gases. That is why you can simply add gas sensors to our system. This allows for active sensor feeding while the system itself stays compact. Active sensor feeding leads to faster and more accurate readings. More air is probed in a shorter amount of time compared to passive systems. Therefore, the system is less likely to produce false results and any changes to the air are faster realized.
With the mp-Multiboard2, the mp6 micropump and the corresponding gas sensors, gas analytics is easily achievable. Furthermore, the modular set-up of our systems allows for maximum flexibility. Therefore, you can add or remove sensors to best suit your needs. Some examples for sensors are CO2, VOC, optical, ph or thermal conductivity sensors. Below, you can find two examples: CO2 and VOC sensors.

More InformationIn this video, we use the mp-Multiboard2 and a CO2 sensor to analyse the CO2 concentration – and the air quality – in our offices. This system allows for some basic gas analytics functions without being bulky or complicated. Since the mp-Multiboard2 is Bluetooth-capable and can be battery-operated, you can move the whole system to wherever you need it.
